To accommodate additional numbers, we also have a Beach House adjacent to the camp site that can sleep an extra 20 people, refer to the Beach House section for more details.
With a wide open deck and great view across the whole campsite, the dining room is the main meeting area on camp.
The dining room is equipped with everything required to make meal times efficient and effortless. It is serviced by a modern commercial kitchen and has designated service and clean up areas with a commercial dishwasher. It has all the required cutlery and crockery as well as enough tables and chairs to seat up to 150 people, which can be easily set up and packed away to suit the requirements of the groups.
At the front of the room there is large double door fridge always stocked with plenty of refreshments and fresh fruit for campers to have round the clock. There is also an espresso coffee machine, a variety of teas, hot water and milk available at all times.
The dinner room is equipped with fans, heaters and a noise reducing straw roof making it an ideal additional break out room for presentations, rehearsals and indoor games.
The recently updated Multi-Purpose Hall is the newest and most popular addition to the camp site. With a high roof, solid wooden floor boards and a raised stage area at one end, this large space is suitable for a wide range of activities including dancing, indoor games, rehearsals or presentations. The wide hall space can comfortable seat 100 people and is set up with a projector, sound system, DVD player and computer connections. Additional chairs can easily be arrange to meet the needs of your group.
Our chapel is furnished on the principle of minimalistic simplicity. It is the ideal place on camp for quiet reflection and meditation and features a projector, sound system and heating. It is carpeted so that sitting on the floor is an option, however there are also chairs available if you wish.
The most recent addition to the camp site, the Games Room, has been a hit amongst the campers. The room is equipped with two table tennis tables and two foosball tables for campers to relax and have fun in between sessions.
Next to the Games Room is the camp’s own Pool Room. As the name suggests, the Pool Room is set up with two pool tables for campers to enjoy between sessions or in free time. Decorated with a variety of camps trophies and a blackboard for scoring, most campers want to go ‘straight to the pool room’.
The theatre features a stage at the front of the room and an upright piano which is always available for use. With additional chairs available, this room can be used as an extra hall for breakout discussions or indoor activities.
The rec. room (short for recreation) is just that: a room perfect for chilled out low-key activities. Furnished with plenty of couches, chairs and two blackboards it is the ideal breakout room for small group discussions or just general free time.
The Handy room (named as such due to the wall decorations) is furnished with chairs and couches and is another ideal breakout room. It is also a handy area for art and craft based activities to take place and even features an air hockey table.
The sports shed houses an array of basic sporting items that are available to catered groups. Cricket, football, soccer and rugby equipment can be found within, as well as Frisbees, vortexes and other miscellaneous goods.
'Don Bosco Camp offered professionalism, high-level service and excellent food over the period of our camp. The attention to detail both before and during the camp was second to none. We were provided with an abundance of options and all of our requests were met, which assisted our High Performance team to run an elite training camp. We had a fantastic experience and it made the choice to return very easy.'
